Tim Cook

Based in London, but operating internationally, Tim Cook has nearly 20 years of executive search and assessment experience, covering both Egon Zehnder and Russell Reynolds where Tim co-led the Global Cyber and CIO Practices. Tim is focused on helping clients understand what good looks like in digital as well as cyber security leadership. He has previous experience in both large and small-scale technology companies, from time spent at Fujitsu Services and Cherwell Scientific, where he was the CEO. Earlier in his career, Tim served in the UK MOD. Tim’s work has covered Cyber as well as CIO, CTO and other senior digital roles.

He has worked across most sectors and geographies on both search and assessment projects. Tim invented a maturity model for cyber security leadership called CIRO (Cyber and Information Risk Officers) to help organisations and individuals understand what good looks like in cyber leadership, this has been widely used internationally in search and assessment assignments.

Susanna Berry OBE

Is a former senior civil servant, who spent 30 years working in foreign affairs and national security. Having lived in Europe, the US, Asia and the Middle East, she has extensive experience of working in different languages and across different cultures.

Latterly she specialised in the application of behavioural science in the foreign affairs and national security arena. She ended her public service career as a Deputy Director responsible for digital transformation.

Liz Brabyn

Liz Brabyn studied economics and history at the School of Oriental and African Studies. She went on to gain a Masters in International Relations from the London School of Economics, before joining Goldman Sachs as an investment banker. She then moved to the Ministry of Defence, where she spent eighteen years working in a range of counter terrorism and security roles in the UK and overseas.

A Mandarin speaker, she has extensive experience collaborating with behavioural scientists in the study of human psychology, motivational techniques and career management.

Alice Bromage

Has a background based in the military, but with a passion for helping people from all fields really excel and reach their potential. She left the Army in 2016, and has worked on behavioural change projects, coaching and mentoring projects ever since. Alice is a resilience leadership coach, and can provide coaching and training to 1-2-1, groups or run workshops.

She has been working in Somalia coaching and mentoring a Somali security department and has also been coaching the South African all female Black Mamba anti-poaching unit.

Dr Penny Moyle

A business psychologist and coach, with a passion for helping organisations and their people to thrive in high pressure and uncertain times such as in rapid growth, turn around, restructuring and through M&A. Penny was the CEO of OPP Ltd, one of the foremost experts in personality assessments in Europe and led the international expansion of the company globally with major clients ultimately overseeing its acquisition by CPP The Myers-Briggs® Company in 2016.

Penny brings an approach to business coaching informed by strong academic underpinnings, balanced with the commercial focus, pragmatism and empathy of an experienced executive manager. Penny has a D.Phil in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University.

Malcolm Sparkes

Was until recently a senior civil servant having spent over 30 years in the FCO and associated departments. He specialised in National Security issues and particular the design and implementation of security measures to protect high value state assets.

He has run a number of vetting operations and was the Deputy Director responsible for security. He has a wide knowledge of security issues with a particular expertise in insider risk and the practical measures which can be applied to mitigate it. Malcolm has participated in a number of assessments.

Richard Waddell

Richard is the founder and director of Talent ID, Kafue’s partner in cyber psychometrics. Talent ID and Kafue have collaborated to link psychometrics to the CIRO cyber leadership maturity model. Richard is passionate about helping people and organisations to increase their performance. He’s worked with leaders at all levels, from advising FTSE businesses on CEO selection through to developing front-line nurses in the NHS.

Before establishing Talent ID, Richard worked for Korn Ferry Hay Group. He partnered with clients worldwide in people-focused areas such as assessment, development, and organisation design. He is accredited in a wide range of tools and psychometrics, and is a highly experienced assessor, facilitator and coach. In a previous career, Richard gained his own leadership experience, training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and completing 15 years as a Regular and Reserve British Army Officer, including overseas operations.
